Fernando Gerónimo Pérez, age 27 of Hammond, IN formerly of La Union,  Zacapa, Guatemala passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026 at home.  He is survived by parents, Isaac Geronimo Ramirez and Esmeralda Perez; brother, Nolvis Bartolome Geronimo Perez; paternal grandparents, Mercedes Ramirez and Bartolome Geronimo; maternal grandfather, Abraham Perez, maternal aunts:  Luz Mercedes Perez, Irma Perez and Alicia Ramirez; paternal aunt, Martina Geronimo Ramirez; paternal unlces:  Samuel Geronimo Ramirez and Cenaydo Geronimo Ramirez, (ALL of GUATEMALA).  Preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Julia Ramirez.

Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, February 20, 2026.  Lu Son de Luna Groupo from  6:00 to 7:00 pm; Eva Rodriguez will pray the rosary from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Fr. Pius Kokose will hold a prayer service at 8:00 pm on Friday.  Funeral and Burial will be held in Taguayni, La Union, Zacapa, Guatemala. Le sobreviven sus padres, Isaac Gerónimo Ramírez y Esmeralda Pérez; su hermano, Nolvis Bartolomé Gerónimo Pérez; sus abuelos paternos, Mercedes Ramírez y Bartolomé Gerónimo; su abuelo materno, Abraham Pérez; sus tías maternas: Luz Mercedes Pérez, Irma Pérez y Alicia Ramírez; su tía paterna, Martina Gerónimo Ramírez; sus tíos paternos: Samuel Gerónimo Ramírez y Cenaydo Gerónimo Ramírez (todos de Guatemala). Le precedió en la muerte su abuela materna, Julia Ramírez.
