Our mom was a very giving person who took pleasure in giving to others.  She especially was known as the mom who always fed your belly until it was full.  You couldn’t visit her without leaving with a plate of food or with a satisfied palate.  Her cooking was amazing, but most of all she had a big empathetic heart that beated to help others until it beated no more.

The world has lost a soul that mastered the art of love and forgiveness.  She believed that no matter how large or small the task was, you can accomplish anything in life if you are determined and focused.  She lived for her family and always made herself available to us no matter what was on her agenda.  She gave everything she had and never thought about material possessions.  Her only lot in life was for her family to live a happy and fulfilling life.  Nothing was more important to her than family and she displayed it every day of her life.  She always came to a family gathering with more food than was needed, but her philosophy was that good food was necessary for the soul.

What we will miss the most are her phone calls every day, her delicious food, but most of all her unconditional love!  The soul we lost on earth has traveled to heaven where she will be reunited with many loved ones, including our dad.

We were blessed to have learned many valuable lessons and will cherish what we learned every day of our lives.  We will carry on her legacy of giving for many years to come and will not bid farewell as her spirit and teachings will live within us forever!

Safe journey, Mommy! We love you more than can ever be measured!
